Get Back Old Newsfeed Style In Facebook

Those who haven’t visited Facebook lately, I’m sure that they would be surprised to see the new Facebook newsfeed. Until now, the Facebook newsfeed showed the post in chronological order i.e new stories at the top. But a few days ago, Facebook made some changes to its newsfeed. Instead of recent stories, the new Facebook newsfeed now shows the top stories that you probably don’t want to miss, as Facebook said. Although it depends on when you last checked Facebook.

Most of the users didn’t welcome the change. I have even noticed that some of my friends and pages I follow are now missing from the newsfeed. Thanks to this chrome extension – Facebook Classic, I’m now able to revert back to old Facebook layout. So if you’re unhappy with the new Facebook newsfeed you can install Facebook Classic extension in your Chrome browser.

Download and install Facebook Classic extension from Download Facebook Classic . Once installed, just refresh the page, it will simply make the timeline appear in chronological order so that the latest stories comes first at the top of the newsfeed. Also, it lets you get rid of Facebook Ticker feed that I believe nobody liked. Although the extension doesn’t work if you use canary build of chrome browser. But it works perfectly on stable or beta version.

Also, I want to let you know that Facebook will be rolling out the new Timeline, which was announced at the F8 conference last Friday, for all the Facebook users by 2nd October. I’ve been using the new Facebook timeline since Saturday. Get your new Timeline layout from here Timeline Profile . In spite of the recent changes that I dislike, I’ve to say ‘Nothing can beat Facebook’ .

Block Ticker of Facebook In Chrome & Mozilla

Facebook has always been experimenting new changes. Some changes are quite good while some changes really get on nerves!!! Recently facebook introduced SUBSCRIBE feature which is quite good...You can gets updates without adding particular person...On the other hand, the TICKER feature which is the latest change made by Facebook...some people might find it good because it gives realtime update of friends activity where as some find it really bullshit as it keeps distracting by auto scrolling the feeds!!!

So, here we have the solution to disable the new ticker feature for those who don't like it!!!

For CHROME users :

-> Go to Unannoying Facebook

-> Click "Add to Chrome" & refresh your Facebook Page.

For FIREFOX users :

Step 1: Install Adblock Plus

Step 2: Goto Tools–>Add-ons

Step 3: Select Adblock under Extension tab

Step 4: Select Option–>Add filters

Step 5: add this lines:

www.facebook.com##[id="pagelet_rhc_ticker"]

www.facebook.com##[id="pagelet_ticker"]

Step 6 : click Add filter -> apply -> OK

Disable Ticker Feature In Facebook

Select All Facebook Friends In A Single Click

Hey facebook users...here's a nice Google Chrome Extension for u all!!!

How do you invite all your friends?? Is it by clicking individual name or using some sort of javascript??

Clicking all name is possible if u have very less friends but what in case u hav 1000+  friends...clicking them individually will suck...

Using select all javascript is quite easier but you  have to copy paste code every time you want to invite...

only select the first 10. If you remove the 10, it will go back to 'Select All' and will select all when you push the button. The unselect all button has been removed for the product in the release.
When installed, you should see the Select All appear when you click on "Select Guests" for an Event or "Invite Friends" for a Fan Page.
This extension only works for Facebook Events and Fan Pages.You can even use it to select all friends when asking questions!!!
