I know almost all of you are pissed off with the new Facebook chat and looking for the way to get old Facebook chat back. Today I will share a simple trick to get your old Facebook chat in Mozilla Firefox browser.
1. First we need to install Grease Monkey addon for Firefox.
GreaseMonkey is a Mozilla Firefox extension that allows users to install scripts that make on-the-fly changes to HTML web page content. The changes made to the web pages are executed every time the page is opened, making them effectively permanent for the user running the script. GreaseMonkey can be used for adding new functions to web pages (for example, embedding price comparisons within shopping sites), fixing rendering bugs, combining data from multiple webpages, and numerous other purposes.
In this trick we use a custom script to get the old facebook chat back. You can download GreaseMonkey from here.
2. After clicking Add to Firefox button a popup will appear and you have to click Install button.
3. Now the GreaseMonkey addon is installed. Now we want to install the script for getting the old facebook chat. For that go to this page and click the Install button on top right corner of the page.
4. Now clear the Firefox cache. For that go to Options >> Advanced. Now click the Clear Now button.
You will get the old facebook chat back, enjoy!
