Convert any Webpage to PDF with Joliprint [Add-on]

There are lots of tutorials available on the internet in the form of webpages for almost all categories and sections and you might want to save these to your desktop for future. Joliprint is an nice Firefox add-on for converting your webpage into PDF file and also for printing it. The Joliprint Firefox Add-on makes it easy to save and print all the great articles you see online. You can turn full pages into sharp looking PDF, including title, text, images, author, category, no ads, no navigation menu with a single click.

Once installed, you can see a small icon on the toolbar which has the look of a printer. Clicking on the button will generate the PDF file of the selected web page. You can pick a single page article, a multi-pages article, or select a Google Reader, Instapaper or ReadItLater list and click the add-on.

Once the PDF is generated, you can download it or save into Google docs. The advantage of Joliprint it that it can neatly convert webpages into PDF and removes all the ads from the pages.

Block Ticker of Facebook In Chrome & Mozilla

Facebook has always been experimenting new changes. Some changes are quite good while some changes really get on nerves!!! Recently facebook introduced SUBSCRIBE feature which is quite good...You can gets updates without adding particular person...On the other hand, the TICKER feature which is the latest change made by Facebook...some people might find it good because it gives realtime update of friends activity where as some find it really bullshit as it keeps distracting by auto scrolling the feeds!!!

So, here we have the solution to disable the new ticker feature for those who don't like it!!!

For CHROME users :

-> Go to Unannoying Facebook

-> Click "Add to Chrome" & refresh your Facebook Page.

For FIREFOX users :

Step 1: Install Adblock Plus

Step 2: Goto Tools–>Add-ons

Step 3: Select Adblock under Extension tab

Step 4: Select Option–>Add filters

Step 5: add this lines:

www.facebook.com##[id="pagelet_rhc_ticker"]

www.facebook.com##[id="pagelet_ticker"]

As Shown Below:

Step 6 : click Add filter -> apply -> OK

Get Old Facebook Chat back [ultimate solution]

As you all might find annoying in using the new Facebook chat which appears in your Facebook sidebar, here is a simple trick that lets you to turn your new Facebook chat into old style Facebook chat window. If you feel the new Facebook chat in sidebar is irritating and annoying, you can switch back to old facebook chat by installing a small addon for your Chrome and Firefox browser.

Facebook Sidebar Chat Reversion is a userscript for browsers (Chrome & Firefox) that does the job of reverting the old style facebook chat back to you for easy use. You can easily get rid of this new facebook chat in sidebar replacing it with one like the original.

The new facebook chat in the sidebar, shows only the friends to whom you talk often and also doesn’t allow you to scroll down the contacts. It just shows people who are online available and not other friends who are in idle. So this is basically sucks and annoys everyone.

Once you’ve installed this userscript (just like any other browser addon) you can view the old facebook chat which shows all online and idle friends, not just the ones you talk to frequently, it also hides offline friends. It just mimics some of the functionality of the old chat while removing the annoying features of the new sidebar.

• Shows ONLY online/idle friends (Doesn’t show offline friends)
• Orders friends by first name
• Groups friends by online and idle.
• Shows total number of online/idle friends when chat bar is open and closed.

• Searching friends is still possible.

• Adds “View Profile” link to the cog menu in each chat window to easily view the profile of the person you are talking to.

How to Install this script to get the Old facebook chat back ?

For Chrome users :

Just go to the Userscript page – click me

Now Install the extension. Refresh your facebook homepage.

You can see the old facebook chat where you can scroll, view online & idle friends.

For Firefox users :
